Why Your Support Is So Important

Our work would not be possible without financial support. Your donation will help support our year-round programming which touches the lives of nearly 400,000 disadvantaged New Yorkers every year. The following are just a few of the things New York Cares will be able to achieve, with your support, in the coming year:

• Enable more than 36,000 New Yorkers to bring their time and talents to help our community by creating and managing over 900 meaningful volunteer projects every month.
   
• Help meet some of the most pressing needs in our city through our support of over 850 diverse non-profit organizations throughout the five boroughs.
   
• Provide over $1.5 million in service to our parks and schools through our New York Cares Day and Hands on New York Day events.
   
• Provide over 94,000 warm winter coats and 30,000 holiday gifts to those who would otherwise go without.
   
• Foster corporate social responsibility by helping hundreds of New York City's leading companies play a significant role in meeting the needs of our city.
