As a partner of New York Cares for over a decade, this year Gap Inc. engaged employees in five volunteer projects and has more planned through the fall. Gap's IT Department started the year by taking elementary school children to the Sony Wonder Lab, and then came back in June to paint benches and flower boxes at PS 11 M in Chelsea. In the spring, Gap's Human Resources group helped brighten up The Door, an agency that helps youth realize their potential. June saw the Gap International team getting artsy with children at an East Village public school and revitalizing PS 129 M in Harlem. Gap Inc. employees always demonstrate immense enthusiasm, bringing seemingly endless energy to every task they perform.
