Invest in Your Team and Your Community

Employee volunteer projects are great ways to build your team and show your commitment to meeting our city's most pressing needs. As the city's leading volunteer organization, we've been planning customized corporate volunteer projects for 20 years. Companies of all sizes turn to us when they want to make a difference in their community.

How It Works

New York Cares will plan group volunteer projects based on your company's sponsorship level. Your company selects the type of project, location, and timing – we take care of the rest.

Companies come back to us year after year to plan volunteer projects because we take on the entire planning process, creating projects to match your company's volunteering priorities and coordinating all logistics, including site visits, creating curricula or work plans, ordering supplies, lunch, and transportation. We'll also have staff members on site to ensure that your project runs smoothly.

Some Things to Consider

  • New York Cares supporters at the $5,000 level or above are eligible to receive customized project planning services.

  • Please provide at least eight weeks advance notice for New York Cares to plan the best possible project for your company.

  • To ensure that your donation to New York Cares goes directly to helping our neighbors in need, the cost of any project supplies, lunch, or transportation will be invoiced separately and not deducted from your donation.
