Lee: Entertainer Extraordinaire
In addition to leading projects for our annual city-wide revitalization events, New York Cares Day and Hands on New York Day, maintaining the grounds in Riverside Park, and sorting baby clothes and other donated items for mothers living in shelters, Lee regularly teams up with other volunteers to sing at senior centers. "I actually feel like I learn a lot about my hometown," Lee says of his visits. The seniors he sings with, many of whom tell Lee about their days as singers or dancers themselves, enjoy his contribution as much as he enjoys theirs. Thanks, Lee, for carrying a tune for New York Cares!
