Application to Receive Coats

Are you an agency who wants to receive coats?

Fill out the application below. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis starting in late November. The New York Cares Coat Drive will contact you when your application number is reached to schedule your coat pick-up time.

Part 2: Number of Coats You Are Requesting

In order to serve as many agencies as possible, we are unable to give any agency more than 300 coats total. If you need 15 coats or less, you do not need to fill out an application. Starting December 1st we will be able to direct you to an agency that will have coats available for distribution. Please reach out to us in December by emailing us at info@newyorkcares.org or calling 212.402.1173.

Part 3: Agency Agreement

I certify that all of the coats given to my agency will be distributed free of charge to our clients, whom we know to be in need. None of the coats will be placed in thrift stores or otherwise sold.
Upon request, I will e-mail, mail, or fax proof of my organization's nonprofit status to the New York Cares office.
I acknowledge that my organization is responsible for picking our coats up from the Coat Drive warehouse in Manhattan.
I understand the coats my agency will receive are gently used donated coats and are not cleaned by New York Cares prior to distribution.
