Coat Drive Events and Promotions
Help us collect even more coats this winter by hosting a coat drive event or promotion. Use your networks and resources to host a special event or promotion, and offer an incentive for attendees who bring coats, or offer discounts on products and more.
Individuals or civic groups, such as a churches, community organizations, interested in holding events or special promotions, please email Community Relations Manager Damon Bolden for more information.

1. Special Events and Promotions
Now through December 31st: Keep the Bronx Warm
Bronx Borough President, Ruben Diaz Jr., will be hosting a coat collection at his office in the Bronx County Courthouse throughout December. November 28th - December 28th: Keep Brooklyn Warm Drive Brooklyn Borough President, Marty Markowitz, will host a coat collection at Brooklyn Borough Hall, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. November 28th - December 28th: Rothman's Union Square Rothman's in Union Square will collect coats and offer a Cash for Clunkers incentive for coat donors, who can get $25 off any new men's overcoat, raincoat, leather jacket or outerwear at Union Square and Scarsdale Locations. December 2nd - December 31st: Live NationFor each coat donated at the box office at Irving Plaza, 17 Irving Pl., two service fee free tickets to any show at Gramercy Theatre or Irving Plaza will be offered. The box office is open from 12:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Big Gay Ice Cream shop will be raising money for our Coat Drive. Buy a Festivus Miracle Cone on Thursday and Friday and the proceeds will support New York Cares. December 27th - 30th: Midtown Holiday Market Sale
Taap.it Live Local is hosting a holiday market at 335 West 35th Street, 11th Floor, and half the proceeds will be donated to the New York Cares Coat Drive. They will also be collecting coats.
